Belgian Army Wool Gloves | Glove Liners | Unissued

These wool gloves were issued to the Belgian Army but never saw service. They came to us unissued, still in original condition.

The knit stretches to fit most adult hands, which is why they were issued as a single size. Wool holds warmth when damp. That's the reason it has stayed in military use for a century despite every synthetic alternative, and it stays soft enough to wear against the skin all day.

Two ways to wear them: on their own in cool weather, or as a liner inside a leather or shell glove when it turns genuinely cold. The knit is thin enough that a standard leather glove still fits over the top.
