The Austrian Army KAZ 03 Large Rucksack is a 60-liter sustainment pack issued by the Bundesheer for long-range mountain operations. Manufactured by Redo, it is constructed from 1000D Cordura nylon in RAL 7013 (Brown-Grey). The design features a top-loading main compartment with a drawstring snow collar, a zippered bottom entry for sleeping gear, and a height-adjustable floating lid. For load stability, it utilizes an internal frame and an ergonomic suspension system with padded shoulder straps and a waist belt. Multiple heavy-duty compression straps allow for the external lashing of equipment.
