HITCO™ H2O Personal Water Filter Straw | 5000 Liter | Swiss Link - The HITCO H2O is ideal for hiking, backpacking, camping, travel, and emergency preparedness. Filters up to 5,000 liters (1320.86 gallons) of water! The straw-style filter design lets you turn up to 5,000 liters of contaminated water into safe drinking water. 

On the water intake side of the filter, you can attach any standard-sized plastic bottle to allow gravity-fed water flow, eliminating the need to use the mouthpiece. The filter can be used to drink water directly from an open body of water such as a stream, river, or lake. It is a handheld ultralight design weighing only 2 oz. 

The HITCO H2O can filter five times as much water as the standard LifeStraw. It reduces turbidity, filtering down to 0.1 microns. This filter does NOT use iodine or iodinated resin. The microbiological, hollow fiber membrane filters to 0.1 microns and removes 99.999999% of bacteria (including E. Coli and Native Klebsiella) and 99.999% of waterborne protozoan parasites (>LOG 3 reduction, including Giardia & Cryptosporidium), 99.999% of microplastics.
