Wavian 20L Red Jerry Can on a wooden crate, showing the embossed Wavian panel and Made in Latvia barcode label

The NATO jerry can, built by the people who literally wrote the spec.

The Wavian 20L is the original NATO-pattern jerry can, made in Latvia by the same manufacturer that has supplied NATO forces for more than 75 years. Same stamping. Same Rezol lining. Same bayonet closure. Same three-handle top used in the field across every continent.

Sold in the United States by Swiss-Link and shipped with the safety spout included.

NATO Spec Made in Latvia 0.9 mm Cold-Rolled Steel Bayonet Closure

Wavian 20L Red Jerry Can on a wooden crate against a warehouse pallet rack

Built for real fuel storage, not weekend errands.

Cheap pressed-steel copies leak, warp under a stack, and rust from the inside out because their linings peel. A Wavian is 0.9 mm cold-rolled steel, ribbed on every face, with an internal Rezol lining designed for petroleum fuel. Store it, stack it, throw it in the back of a Toyota. Every panel is built to move with the fuel, not against it.

Fully welded, recessed seams.

The seams are fully welded and recessed. No crimped metal, no folded edges that pry apart, no snag point that catches on a rack or a strap. Every join is inside the body line, protected by the ribbed panels around it.

This is the visible tell that separates a real NATO jerry can from a knockoff. You can run a finger along the side of a Wavian and feel steel, not a lip.

Every detail is a NATO detail.

Nothing on a Wavian is a styling choice. The three-handle top, the bayonet closure, the spout that clips into its own carry bracket. All of it exists because a soldier under time pressure had to make it work.

Spout rides with the can.

The included spout clips into a bracket on top of the can, so it moves with the fuel and cannot get left in the garage.

Leak-proof bayonet lid with a locking pin on a brass tether. Two motions to open, two motions to close, no wrench, no lost cap.

Internal breather.

An internal breather pipe inside the neck lets the can vent as you pour, so fuel flows steadily instead of glugging back out.

Splash-free pour. No buttons.

No glugging. No fuel down the fender. No thumb over a rubber flap.

When you are done, the spout unclips and stows back in its bracket. The can seals with the original bayonet lid and the pin goes back through.

Labeled and instructed on the can.

Every Wavian ships with the fuel-type label already on the front and the open and close instructions on the side.
